The Equestrian Club at Florida Atlantic University was founded in 2009 with four members. Today, the club is proudly considered a “top tier Owl” in the Sports and Recreation department of FAU. The club has over 30 dedicated members that all share the love of horses and being both competitive and non-competitive Equestrians. You do not need any prior horse experience or even a horse to be a member of the club.

We participate in many fundraisers, volunteer for the community, host IHSA horse shows, and put on local schooling shows to raise funds for the travel team. We are a primarily self-funded team comprised of about 30 plus students ranging from walk-trot to open divisions in hunt seat.
